Dmoonz / Your action plan

Less guessing.
More next steps.

The documents, people and practical steps that help you move forward.

Talk it through ↗Words, made simple

You do not need a perfect folder to begin. Tell us what happened, what you want to achieve and the nearest deadline. Keep urgent legal and servicer contacts moving while we help organize the picture.

The process: what happens next?
  1. Identify the stage, deadlines and your goal.
  2. Organize debts, income, expenses and notices.
  3. Contact the servicer, counselor, agency or attorney responsible for the decision.
  4. Submit the required documents securely and keep proof of delivery.
  5. Track requests, missing items, decisions and appeal instructions.
  6. Review written terms with the appropriate professional before signing.
How long does it take?

There is no dependable one-size-fits-all timeline. File completeness, loan rules, agency review, court dates, title issues and approvals affect timing. Ask who is reviewing the file, what is missing, when to follow up and which deadlines remain active. Dmoonz does not promise a decision date or an auction postponement.

Your document checklist

Gather mortgage statements, notices and court papers; a dated contact log; proof of income or benefits; expenses and hardship details; tax and water bills; and rental-income records if applicable. The receiving professional may request tax returns and bank records through a secure channel. Do not upload Social Security numbers, bank-account details or unredacted sensitive documents to our general inquiry form.

Free help and who does what

New York DFS / HOPP connects homeowners with counseling and legal-help resources: 855-466-3456. NYC HPD foreclosure-prevention resources provides local pathways. Attorneys handle legal strategy; housing counselors help assess options; servicers decide mortgage workouts; DOF and DEP handle their own accounts.

Avoid scams and deed theft

Be wary of guaranteed rescue, pressure to sign immediately, instructions to stop communicating with your lender, or demands to transfer your deed to obtain help. Confirm credentials and costs independently. Have a trusted lawyer review unfamiliar contracts before signing.

Use NYC deed-fraud guidance and CFPB scam guidance.

Dmoonz helps organize the next steps and connect you with appropriate resources. Legal advice and court representation belong with an attorney; mortgage approvals belong with your servicer. Your eligibility, costs and outcome depend on your circumstances.
