Understand the recurring rent arrangement, separate one-time incentives, and evaluate the opportunity against your actual vacancy costs.

The owner decision: money, readiness, and the next step

A good decision starts with the full picture: proposed rent, included utilities, the agency-funded share, any tenant share, program incentives, vacancy costs, and the work needed to make the unit ready. Dmoonz helps organize those questions so you can compare the opportunity against your actual property.

Vacancy-cost example: an apartment with a proposed $3,000 monthly rent represents $100 per day on a simple 30-day illustration. Thirty days without collected rent means $3,000 of potential gross rent uncollected, while property costs may continue. This is a planning example—not a rent approval or a promise that a program placement will happen faster.

Separate recurring income from one-time benefits. Base your rental budget on the approved recurring rent arrangement. Treat approved hold payments, broker fees, security protection, and tax benefits according to their actual rules and recipient. A broker fee or claims fund is not monthly owner income.

Why put your available rentals in front of Dmoonz?

You can open your apartments to households with approved rental assistance, explore program-specific move-in benefits, and keep the ordinary financial tools of rental ownership. For eligible buildings, there may also be separate tax or rent-authorization opportunities worth reviewing.

Start with a practical opportunity review. Bring your unit list, proposed rents, utilities, and availability. For a building, include its registration/regulatory status and any existing tax-benefit program. We help identify the right housing-navigation questions and agency contacts; your accountant, attorney, and administering agency confirm the specialized approvals.

One vacant apartment. Several available units. A whole portfolio. Start with Dmoonz.

Program-specific payment amounts, security arrangements, incentives, and eligibility are explained in our program guide. Agency approval controls; benefits are not identical across programs.
